Aside from our Family Nights, Plymouth PTA runs several other programs throughout the year.
Reflections
The National Reflections Art Program is an art competition run through the National PTA. Each year students are encouraged to create and submit original works of art in dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.
Red Ribbon Week
Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign run by the National Family Partnership. Plymouth PTA helps coordinate a week-long celebration in October emphasizing healthy, drug-free choices. This year’s theme is: “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free.”
Book Fair
Plymouth PTA organizes two Scholastic Book Fairs each year where families can purchase books while supporting our PTA. Every purchase made at our book fair earns Scholastic Dollars for our PTA which we use to purchase Birthday Books (each student gets one on his/her birthday!) and new books for our awesome library.
Monrovia Holiday Parade Float
Our PTA designs and coordinates our Plymouth School entry in the Monrovia Holiday Parade. We have won a trophy the past two years!
Founder’s Day
Founder’s Day is a celebration of the founding of PTA—an organization that advocates for and serves all children. It is an opportunity to recognize the amazing volunteers, teachers, and staff who make our school and community great!
Staff Appreciation Week
We truly feel blessed to have the most amazing team of staff and teachers at Plymouth and use this week to celebrate them and all they do for our students.
