Makerspace & STEAM

Plymouth PTA is thrilled to have opened our very own Makerspace on our school campus! Our Makerspace is entirely funded by our PTA and staffed with parent volunteers to provide STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) enrichment for our Plymouth Dragons!

What is a makerspace?

A makerspace is a place where students have access to tools and materials to create things with their own two hands. We provide students with a small bit of instruction and guidance but then allow them the freedom to explore, innovate, solve problems, and make!

Volunteering at Makerspace

The first step to becoming a volunteer at Makerspace is to complete a Volunteer Application through the MUSD office. Once you have been cleared to be a Level I or Level II volunteer, contact our Makerspace chair at PlymouthMakerspace@gmail.com to coordinate your schedule.

Thank you for your support!

If you would like to donate any items to our Makerspace, please contact PlymouthMakerspace@gmail.com to coordinate a drop off day and time.
