Makerspace & STEAM

Plymouth PTA supports our very own on-campus Makerspace, providing students with hands-on opportunities to explore creativity, innovation, and problem-solving through engaging activities and projects. Our Makerspace is entirely funded by our PTA and staffed with parent volunteers to provide STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) enrichment for our Plymouth Dragons!

What is a makerspace?

A makerspace is a place where students have access to a variety of tools and materials to design, build, create, and experiment. With a small bit of instruction and guidance from volunteers, students are provided the freedom to explore, innovate, solve problems, and make!

Volunteering at Makerspace

Interested in Volunteering? The first step is to complete a Volunteer Application through the MUSD office. Once you have been cleared to be a Level I or Level II volunteer, contact our Makerspace Co-chairs at makerspace@plymouthpta.org to coordinate your schedule.

Thank you for your support!

Donations of supplies and materials help keep our Makerspace thriving. If you would like to contribute, please contact makerspace@plymouthpta.org to arrange a drop-off.
