Draw or build a home for your dragon!
20210110-DSC09468.jpg

This week, we thought it would be fun to do something a little creative. Draw or build a home for your dragon!

Maybe your dragon lives in a home that looks like yours. Or maybe your dragon lives in a faraway land or maybe even in the future! Use crayons, markers, Legos, blocks, sticks—wherever your imagination takes you!

We can’t wait to see what you come up with on our Dragon Homes Padlet!

Welcome to 2021, Dragons! Many people, in thinking about the new year ahead, make resolutions about things they want to accomplish that year.

What are some things you want to do, learn, or become better at in 2021? We’d love to hear your resolutions on our New Year Padlet.

What are you reading now? What are some of your favorite books? Add your recommendations to our Dragons Read Padlet and check out what your friends have been reading. Maybe you’ll find your next favorite book.

Have a wonderful break, and we’ll see you again next year!

Hello Dragons! It’s Red Ribbon Week, and we’re joining our friends all across this country to celebrate living healthy, happy, and drug-free lives.

We want to see your Red Ribbon spirit this week on our Red Ribbon Week Padlet! Dress up in red and share with us your commitment to living healthy, drug-free lives using one of the worksheets in your Red Ribbon Week Kit.

  • What does a drug-free you look like? Draw a picture!

  • What can you say “yes” to when you say “no” to drugs?

  • What are the things that make you special?

If you don’t have the Red Ribbon Week Kit or just want a bigger version of the worksheets, you can find them here.

This Tuesday is International Dot Day!

Mrs. Harbaugh is reading the The Dot with you this week, and we want you make your mark on a dot and share it with us on this week’s Dot Day Padlet!

It doesn’t matter if your dot is big or small, if you use markers or crayons or glitter glue. Be brave! Be creative! Express who you are! We want to see our Dot Day Padlet filled with your dots!

(Remember to write your name on your post if you’re not signed in with your Google Classroom account. We want to know who made your beautiful dot!)

Show us your dragon’s new friends!

Just like you’ve been meeting new friends in your classes, your dragon’s probably meeting new friends at your home, too. Who are they? What do they like to do together? We’d love to see on our New Friends Padlet for this week!

If you didn’t introduce yourself and your dragon last week, don’t worry—you still can on our Meet Our Dragons Padlet! Even if you did, you might still want to hop back on last week’s Padlet to see any friends you might have missed!
